NICE TO MEET YOU
I am Forrest Jones MD.
As a Family Physician with over 40 years of experience, I earned my medical degree from Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine and completed my Family Medicine residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago.
Over time, I developed a special focus on caring for older adults. My work, along with my personal experience as the medical power of attorney for my own parents, inspired me to help doctors have meaningful end-of-life conversations with their patients. I discovered that these conversations not only honor patients' wishes but also improve their quality of life.
I also have a deep passion for supporting family caregivers—spouses, children, friends, and neighbors—who dedicate themselves to caring for loved ones. In many cases, these caregivers have also been my patients.
Outside of medicine, I love spending time with my wife, Roberta, of over 45 years, along with our children and grandchildren.
